UP Police Exam Date 2025: The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the date for the Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment exam. According to a notice issued by the commission, the exam will be held on March 14 and 15, 2026. Candidates who have applied for the SI position can apply by visiting the official website.

A total of 4,543 posts will be filled through this recruitment process. These include the posts of Sub Inspector Civil Police, Platoon Commander PSC/Sub Inspector Armed Police, Platoon Commander/Sub Inspector Special Security Force, and Female Sub Inspector Civil Police.

Written Exam Pattern

The SI recruitment exam will be conducted on an OMR sheet. This 400-mark exam will last two hours, with a total of 160 questions. The exam will include 40 questions each from General Hindi, Basic Law/Constitution/General Knowledge, Numerical and Mental Ability Test, Mental Aptitude Test/Intelligence Test/Reasoning Test. Each section will carry 100 marks.

Qualifying Marks
The SI recruitment exam requires 35% marks in each section and 50% overall. Candidates scoring less than this will be considered failed.
