The age limit will be calculated based on July 1, 2025. Now, a 3-year relaxation has been granted, under which general and EWS category candidates up to 28 years of age can apply for the UP Police Constable recruitment 2026.

OBC, SC, ST Category Male Candidates: In the UP Police Constable recruitment 2026, OBC, Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribe category male candidates already had a 5-year age relaxation. That is, the maximum age limit for general category male candidates is 22 years. Adding the previously granted 5-year age relaxation, it becomes 27 years. Now, with the addition of another 3 years of relaxation, it can be said that male candidates from OBC, SC, and ST categories up to 30 years of age can apply for the UP Police Constable recruitment 2026. 

Female Candidates from OBC, SC, and ST Categories: In the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026, female candidates from the OBC, Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories already receive a 5-year age relaxation in the previously determined age limit. This means that while the maximum age limit for general category female candidates is 25 years, adding the existing 5-year age relaxation brings it to 30 years. Now, with the addition of a further 3-year age relaxation, it can be said that female candidates from the OBC, SC, and ST categories up to the age of 33 years can apply for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026.
