UP Police Constable Result 2026: The long wait for lakhs of candidates who appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment exam is about to end. The Board is expected to release the recruitment results shortly. According to reports, the results are likely to be announced in the last week of July 2026. Once released, candidates will be able to view their scorecards and the merit list on the official website. However, the Board has not yet announced an official date for the result declaration.
It is worth noting that the UP Constable recruitment exam was conducted in offline mode on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. A few days after the exam, the Board released the provisional answer key. Now, all eyes are fixed on the results. This recruitment drive aims to fill 32,679 constable posts. Approximately 29 lakh candidates applied for the exam, making it one of the largest police recruitment drives in the state.
Merit list to be released alongside the result
The UPPRPB will release the merit list along with the result. The merit list (in PDF format) will contain the roll numbers of the selected candidates. After downloading the PDF, candidates can easily locate their roll numbers using the 'Ctrl+F' function. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be called for the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
How to check the result
Once the result is released, candidates should first visit the official UPPRPB website: uppbpb.gov.in.
Next, click on the 'UP Police Constable Result 2026' link on the homepage.
Enter your registration number, roll number, or date of birth.
Upon submission, the result and scorecard will appear on the screen. You can download and print the result for future reference.
What will the scorecard contain?
Once the result is released, the candidates' scorecards will display key details. These will include the candidate's name, roll number, registration number, category, marks obtained, qualifying status, and guidelines for the next stage. If the board releases cut-off marks, that information will also be made available alongside the results.
What happens after the result?
Passing the written examination is not the final stage. Successful candidates must participate in the subsequent stages of the recruitment process. This will involve a Physical Standard Test and a Physical Efficiency Test, followed by document verification and a medical examination. Candidates who successfully clear all these stages will have their names included in the final merit list.
