UP Police Written Exam Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is expected to release the results of the UP Police Constable recruitment exam by the last week of July. Although the Board has not announced an official date, indications that the next phase of recruitment will begin in August suggest that the written exam results will be declared by the end of July. What is the next process?
Call for DV and PST
Candidates who pass the written exam will first be called for Document Verification (DV) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). According to the tentative schedule, these processes may begin around August 17, 2026.

PET and Medical Examination
Candidates successful in the DV and PST stages will be called for the next and final phase, which includes the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a medical examination.

Final selection will be based on the candidates' performance in the written exam, document verification, physical tests, and medical examination.

Timeline from Exam to Result
It is worth noting that the UPPRPB conducted the written exam in offline OMR mode on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. The provisional answer key was released on June 20, giving candidates the opportunity to review their answers and raise objections before the final result.

Meanwhile, the recruitment notification was issued on December 31, 2025, and the online application process continued until January 30, 2026. Candidates were also allowed to make corrections to their forms between January 31 and February 3.

Over 32,000 vacancies to be filled
This recruitment drive aims to fill 32,679 vacant posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police. These posts include Civil Police, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), and Jail Warden. 

What might the cut-off be?
The board will announce the cut-off marks along with the results. However, based on estimates by exam experts, the probable cut-off for the General category could range from 185 to 195 marks out of 300. Meanwhile, the cut-off is likely to be 180–190 for EWS, 178–188 for OBC, and 165–175 for SC candidates.
