UP Police Constable PET Postponed Again; New Schedule Released

Changes have once again been made regarding the UP Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has altered the exam centers and dates for certain candidates due to rain and waterlogging at the venue.

Adjustments have been made to the Physical Efficiency Test for the direct recruitment of Civil Police Constables and equivalent posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police (Recruitment-2025). The Board has changed the exam centers and dates for some candidates due to rainfall and water accumulation at the testing ground.

A revised exam schedule for the affected candidates has been released by the Board, and their updated admit cards have been uploaded to the Board's website. Candidates must report to the exam center based on the details provided in the new admit cards.

According to the revised schedule, changes have been made regarding the centers and dates for candidates originally assigned to the 11th Battalion PAC, Sitapur. The PET for candidates originally scheduled for October 8 (today) at the 11th Battalion PAC, Sitapur, will now take place on October 11, 2026, at Dr. Shakuntala Misra Rehabilitation University, Lucknow.

Similarly, the exam for candidates originally assigned to the Sitapur center for October 9 will now be held at Dr. Shakuntala Misra Rehabilitation University, Lucknow; the date remains October 9.

Additionally, the exam for candidates assigned to the 11th Battalion PAC, Sitapur, for October 10 will now be conducted at the 35th Battalion PAC, Lucknow, on October 11, 2026.

Schedule Changed Due to Rain and Waterlogging

A notification issued by the Police Recruitment Board states that, in view of the rain and waterlogging on the grounds, the examination centers and dates for these candidates have been rescheduled. Candidates who were originally assigned to the Sitapur center must now report for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at the new center specified in their revised admit cards; they should not go to the examination center listed on their old admit cards. The Board has already issued new admit cards for these candidates.

Center Changed for Azamgarh Candidates Too

Earlier, the center for the Physical Efficiency Test scheduled in Azamgarh was also changed due to rain and waterlogging. Candidates originally assigned to the 20th Battalion PAC, Azamgarh, for the PET on October 9 and 10, 2026, had their center shifted to the 39th Battalion PAC, Mirzapur. Candidates originally scheduled to take the test at the Azamgarh center on October 9 will now appear for the exam at the 39th Battalion PAC, Mirzapur, on the same date (October 9). Similarly, candidates scheduled for October 10 will also take their test at the 39th Battalion PAC, Mirzapur, on October 10.
