UP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 Age Limit: The application process for over 32,000 posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police is currently underway. After receiving age limit relaxations, candidates are concerned about the new age rules, as they also need to prepare the necessary documents for the recruitment process. In this regard, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a new notice regarding the age limit. It specifies the category-wise age limit based on the date of birth. Only those candidates whose date of birth falls within the eligible range can apply.

In this UP Police recruitment, the state government has announced an additional age relaxation of 3 years. After this relaxation, male candidates under 25 years of age will be able to apply. Educational Qualifications for UP Police Recruitment
Applicants must have passed Class 12th from a recognized board or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the government. Candidates who are currently appearing for or are about to appear for their intermediate (12th grade) examinations are not eligible to apply. The minimum height requirement for General/OBC and SC male candidates is 168 cm. For ST male candidates, a height of 160 cm will be acceptable. The minimum height for female candidates is 152 cm, and for ST female candidates, it is 147 cm.
