The 464,605 candidates who applied for the UP PGT (Lecturer – Advertisement No. 02/2022) recruitment, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Services Selection Board (UPSESSB), are awaiting the issuance of their exam admit cards; this wait is set to end on May 6. The Commission will make the admit cards available online on its official website, upessc.up.gov.in, on May 6. Subsequently, applicants will be able to download their admit cards by entering their login credentials.
**Exam Dates and Shift Timings**
To fill 624 vacant PGT posts, the UPSESSB will conduct the examination on May 9 and 10, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts daily across 319 designated examination centers located in 17 districts of the state: Agra, Aligarh, Prayagraj, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Banda, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Saharanpur, and Varanasi.
The first shift of the examination will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, while the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. All candidates are strictly advised to carry their admit cards with them to the examination center. Entry to the examination center will be denied to any candidate without a valid admit card.
