UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) of Uttar Pradesh has released the revised schedule of UP NEET UG Counselling Round 2. As per the new schedule, the last date for online registration for Round 2 counselling is September 18.

Note all important dates.
The merit list for Round 2 will also be announced on September 18, and candidates will be able to choose their preferred college/course from September 19. Only those candidates will be able to participate in the election who have submitted the registration, document verification, and security fees. DGME will declare the result of Round 2 seat allotment on September 23. Earlier, this date was fixed as September 15 and 19.

In a separate notice, the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) has said that candidates who have joined the MBBS/BDS seat allotted in Round 1 and now wish to resign will have to appear in person at their respective nodal centers by September 17 and submit their resignation.

Online registration and document upload: September 10 to 18

Registration fee and security deposit: September 10 to 18

Merit list declaration: September 18

Choice Filling: September 19 to 22

Seat allotment result: September 23

Allotment letter download and admission reporting: September 25 to 27; September 29 to 30; and October 3, 2025

How will the seat allotment be done?

According to the MCC notice, seat allocation in the NRI category will be based on the priority system.

Priority 1- The NRI candidate himself and the children of the NRI.

Priority 2- First and second degree relatives of NRI wards.

The allocation process will be phased. Priority 1 candidates will get the chance first. The remaining seats will be given to priority 2 candidates.
