The running component of the Homeguard recruitment physical test is still pending, with rain posing an obstacle. In light of heavy rainfall across various districts, the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is now preparing to conduct the run on synthetic tracks. The Board has sought details regarding the availability of synthetic tracks from the Sports Department. A synthetic track is available at the 35th Battalion PAC complex in Lucknow, and the Board is gathering information on other available tracks.

The Board plans to conduct the run in separate shifts on synthetic tracks to expedite the enrollment process. Consequently, the Board has revised the date for issuing the updated admit cards for the physical efficiency test. Previously, the date for issuing the revised admit cards had been set for September 10.
