UP Home Guard Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRB) has released the results for the Home Guard recruitment 2026 written examination. According to the notification issued by the UP Police Recruitment Board, 1,07,221 candidates (approximately 2.6 times the number of vacancies) have qualified for document verification and the physical standards test against the 41,424 Home Guard posts. How to check the Home Guard recruitment exam result?
First, visit the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board website at uppbpb.gov.in.
Once the homepage opens, look for the link for the UP Police Home Guard Result 2026 and click on it.
A new page will open where you will need to enter your registration number, roll number, and date of birth.
After entering all the details correctly, click the submit button; your result will appear on the screen.
Download the result PDF and take a printout to keep safe for future reference.
19 lakh candidates took the exam
More than 19 lakh candidates appeared for the exam for over 41,000 vacant UP Home Guard posts. The UP Police Recruitment Board examined with complete transparency and efficiency. The exam was held on April 25, 26, and 27. Subsequently, the provisional answer key was released on May 7.
What happens after the written exam?
Candidates who have qualified in this written exam must now proceed through the subsequent stages. Final selection will be determined only after completing these stages. The subsequent stages are as follows:
Document Verification – The documents of candidates who have qualified in the written examination will be verified. This process will be conducted across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Male candidates will be required to complete a 4.8-kilometer run in 28 minutes, while female candidates must run 2.4 kilometers in 16 minutes.
Medical Test – Finally, only those candidates found to be medically fit will be selected.
