Successful candidates will now have to undergo the subsequent stages of the recruitment process, such as document verification, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination.

**Over 19 lakh candidates took the exam**
There was tremendous enthusiasm among the youth for this recruitment. More than 19 lakh candidates applied for the 41,424 posts. The written examination was conducted on April 25, 26, and 27, 2026, at various centers across Uttar Pradesh. Subsequently, a provisional answer key was released on May 7, and objections were invited until May 10. The final result has now been released following the scrutiny of all objections and the evaluation of answer sheets.

The scorecard will contain important details such as the candidate's name, registration number, marks obtained, subject-wise marks, qualifying status, and category-wise cut-off marks. Candidates should carefully verify all these details.

**Upcoming stages**
Candidates who have qualified in the written examination will now have to undergo document verification, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), the Physical Standard Test (PST), and a medical examination. Male candidates will be required to complete a 4.8-kilometer run in 28 minutes, while female candidates must complete a 2.4-kilometer run in 16 minutes. Candidates who successfully clear all stages will undergo 90 days of basic training at Uttar Pradesh Police training centers following their final selection.
