The selection process will include a written exam, document verification, a Physical Standard Test, and a Physical Efficiency Test. Standards such as running and height are also mandatory. Let's understand the entire process.
Recruitment Process
The recruitment process has been made completely transparent and phased. First, candidates will be required to complete an OTR (One Time Registration). The written exam will be based on an OMR sheet, so candidates must thoroughly prepare for general knowledge questions. After passing the exam, documents will be verified, and then the PST (Physical Standards Test), which includes height, weight, and chest measurements. Candidates who complete these stages will then appear for the PET (running test). Finally, the final merit list will be based on the scores from all stages.
Physical Standards and Race Rules
Regarding physical standards, the minimum height for male candidates is 168 cm and for reserved categories, 160 cm. The chest should be 79-84 cm, with a mandatory 5 cm expansion. The minimum weight should be 40 kg. In the PET, men will be required to complete a 4.8 km run in 28 minutes.
