Uttar Pradesh Teachers Guide: Class-3 Hindi and Mathematics Teacher Guides are being distributed to 1.48 crore students studying in 1.32 lakh council schools in Uttar Pradesh and more than 5.75 lakh teachers/Shikshamitras. This distribution is being done for the first time through 'Kitab Vitran App', which makes the process of delivering material to teachers and schools technically transparent and timely.

What is 'Kitab Vitran App'?

The 'Kitab Vitran App' is QR. Code-based and ensures that textbooks, workbooks, and teacher guides reach the last level on time. District and Block Education Officers, SRGs, ARPs, DIET Mentors, and Principals will scan the QR code and enter the details immediately after receiving the material. This facilitates monitoring and action by the State Project Office in real time.

Teachers get new manuals.

Guidelines specially prepared for primary, upper primary, and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential Schools are now being made available to teachers. All the necessary information and instructions related to the use, maintenance, and distribution of the teacher diary have been given in these manuals.

Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said that the council education system of Uttar Pradesh is going through unprecedented changes. Quality education and a transparent system are our top priority under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He further said that our goal is to provide excellent education to every child and make UP an ideal in the field of education.

Monitoring from the district to the school level

Responsibility has been clearly fixed in this process, in which the role of BSA, BEO, headmaster, and teacher is determined. Physical verification will be done by SRG, ARP, and DIET mentor, while a mandatory reporting and monitoring system has been ensured at every level.

Director General of School Education Kanchan Verma said that this effort will prove to be a milestone in the direction of education reform. This will provide real-time information to the government, better use of resources, and ensure solid improvement in the quality of teaching.

Both teachers and students will benefit.
The new initiative in the council schools of Uttar Pradesh will benefit both teachers and students. Now, more than 6 lakh teachers have been able to adopt better teaching methods, which will improve the level of education in the class. 1.48 crore students will get direct benefit from this. Especially for the children of class 3, the study of Hindi and Mathematics will now be done in a more effective and systematic way than before.
