UP DElEd 2026: The deadline for online applications for the DElEd training program 2026 in Uttar Pradesh has been extended. The government made this decision based on a proposal from the Examination Regulatory Authority, Prayagraj. Candidates can now apply until August 3. According to Rajendra Pratap, Secretary of the Examination Regulatory Authority, the application deadline has been extended to August 3. Fees can be deposited until August 4, while application printouts can be obtained until August 5.

Candidates must apply for the DElEd training program 2026 via the official website, updeled.gov.in. Applications submitted through any mode other than online will not be accepted. The Secretary of the Examination Regulatory Authority had issued the notification for online applications for the DElEd training program on June 9, 2026.

**Admission to 2,39,500 Seats**
Admissions will be conducted for a total of 2,39,500 seats across DElEd colleges in UP, including 10,600 seats in government colleges (DIETs). However, by the previously scheduled deadline of July 11, the number of applications received was less than half of the total available seats; only 1,12,136 candidates had applied.

**Eligibility for UP DElEd Training 2026**

The eligibility criteria for the Uttar Pradesh DElEd (formerly BTC) training program 2026 are as follows:

**Educational Qualification**
Must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university.
Minimum 50% marks in graduation for General/EWS/OBC candidates.
45% marks for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates.

**Age Limit**
Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age:
General category: 35 years
OBC/SC/ST: 40 years (relaxation as per reservation rules)
Differently-abled candidates may receive additional relaxation as per regulations.
