Due to rain, the Physical Efficiency Test scheduled for October 1, 2026, at 9 centers will now be conducted on October 8, 2026.
Affected centers (9): Fatehpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Azamgarh, and Mirzapur.
Centers with unchanged schedules (6): At Prayagraj, Jhansi, Lucknow (35th Battalion), Dr. Shakuntala Misra Rehabilitation University (Lucknow), Raebareli, and Aligarh, the test will proceed according to the originally scheduled date (October 1, 2026).
Revised admit cards for candidates whose test has been rescheduled to October 8, 2026, will be uploaded to the recruitment board's official website on September 30, 2026.
Which candidates have been called for the PET?
The written examination for this recruitment was held on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026.
The Board released the written examination results on July 31, 2026.
Candidates who secured the minimum passing marks after the normalization of written exam scores were called for the next stage.

What is the required running distance?
In the physical efficiency test, male candidates must complete a 4.8-kilometer run within 25 minutes.
Female candidates must complete a 2.4-kilometer run within 14 minutes.
Candidates who fail to complete the run within the stipulated time limit will not be considered eligible for the recruitment process. Candidates who do not meet the prescribed standards in the test will not be given a second chance.
