UP Board 12th Practical Exam 2025: The intermediate practical examinations of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) are going to start on February 1. This examination will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, examinations will be conducted in the districts of eight divisions from February 1 to 8. Necessary instructions related to the examination have also been issued by the board.
New process implemented in the examination
This time the examination system has been changed. For the first time, the examiners will upload the marks on the portal through a mobile app directly from the school premises.
The list of examiners, information about the schools allotted to them, and all the documents related to the examination have already been sent to the respective districts.
Security system and monitoring
The board secretary has given clear instructions that the practical examination will be conducted under 100% CCTV surveillance. It will be mandatory for the principals of all the schools to keep the complete recording of the examination safe.
It will be mandatory for the examiners to carry an Aadhar card or any other valid identity card with them, a copy of which will be preserved in the school records.
In which districts will the examination be held in the first phase?
Under the first phase, examinations will be conducted in the districts of Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur divisions.
The status of CCTV cameras installed at all examination centers has also been reviewed so that the examination can be conducted fairly and transparently.
The board has also ensured that officers will be appointed to monitor each examination center, who will supervise the smooth conduct of the examination.
Regional helpdesks have been created for students.
Helpdesks are being operated at the council headquarters and all regional offices to solve the subject-related problems of students related to the written examinations of high school and intermediate along with the practical examination, adjustment difficulties arising due to fear/curiosity/stress of examination, etc. The regional helpdesks can be contacted on the following numbers and email IDs:
