UP Board Class 10th, 12th Exams 2025 Begin Today: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has started UP Board Class 10th, 12th examinations 2025 from today, 24 February. UP Board High School and Intermediate examinations have started today at 8.30 am and will run till 11.45 am. UP Board Class 10th examination has started with Hindi subject and Healthcare paper while the UP Board Class 12th examination has started with Hindi and Military Science paper. The examination is being held in two shifts, so the second shift examination will run from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

Today's examination postponed in Prayagraj

At the same time, the high school and intermediate examinations to be held today i.e. on 24 February in the city of Mahakumbh Prayagraj have been postponed. UP Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi said that due to the Mahashivratri bath on February 26 in Prayagraj, the UP Board 10th, and 12th examinations of February 24 have been postponed given the excessive crowd of devotees and traffic management. The examinations to be held on February 24 will be held again on Sunday, March 9. This amendment will apply only to Prayagraj district, while in other districts the examinations will be held as per the pre-determined schedule.

School uniform is mandatory.

It is mandatory for all the students participating in the UP Board examination to carry the school ID along with the UP Board 10th, and 12th Admit Card 2025. No student will be allowed entry into the examination hall without an admit card and ID proof. The student has to reach the exam center half an hour before the start of the board examination. Also, all the students must appear for the UP Board Examination 2025 in school uniform. Carrying any kind of electronic device - mobile phone, smartwatch, Bluetooth in the examination hall is completely prohibited.

More than 54 lakh students at 8 thousand examination centers

UP Board Class 10th and 12th examinations are being conducted at 8,140 examination centers across the state. This year 54.37 lakh boys and girls are appearing in the UP Board Examination 2025, in which 27.32 lakh students are appearing for the high school examination and 27.05 lakh students are appearing for the intermediate examination.

STF, LIU, etc. agencies are monitoring

Like every year, this year also the government has made strict arrangements for the UP Board examination. Sensitive centers in 17 districts are being monitored by agencies like STF, LIU, etc. CCTV cameras with two voice recorders, routers, DVRs and high-speed internet have been installed in the examination hall. Live monitoring of the examination is being done through webcasting. Center-wise coding has been done in the question papers to maintain the purity of the board examination. Not only this, 8,140 center administrators, 8,140 external center administrators, 8,140 static magistrates, 1,283 sector magistrates, and 439 zonal magistrates have been deployed for conducting the examination.

Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Act, 2024 Implemented

Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 has been implemented to ensure transparency and fairness in the UP Board examination. Under this Act, strict action will be taken against those who commit any kind of disturbance in the examination process.
