As is the case every year, students of the UP Board’s 10th and 12th grades are eagerly awaiting their results. The biggest question remains: will the results be released around April 20th this year as well, or could there be a delay? Result Pattern of the Last 3 Years

2025: The UP Board results were released on April 25th.
2024: The results were declared around April 20th.
2023: The results were released on April 25th.
These figures clearly indicate that the UP Board typically releases its results during the third or fourth week of April. Therefore, students can expect to receive their results around this same timeframe this year as well.

When were the examinations held this year?

In 2026, the UP Board examinations were conducted between February 18th and March 12th. The exams were held in offline mode and were organized in two shifts: morning and afternoon.
This year, approximately 5.2 million (52 lakh) students registered for the exams, out of whom about 4.94 million (49.4 lakh) students actually appeared for the tests. Evaluating such a massive number of answer sheets is a monumental task; consequently, the preparation of the results takes some time.

Why was there a delay in the answer sheet evaluation?

This year, the evaluation of answer sheets commenced on March 18th, with an initial target to complete the process by April 1st. However, the pace of work slowed down due to intervening holidays, such as Eid and Ram Navami.
Officials in several districts also requested an extension of the deadline. Consequently, the Board extended the final date for the evaluation process to April 4, 2026. All centers must now complete the evaluation of answer sheets by this specific date.

When can the results be expected?

The Board has not yet announced the final date for the results; however, based on trends from previous years, results are typically released within 15 to 20 days of the completion of the answer sheet evaluation.
If the evaluation process is completed by April 4th this time, it is estimated that the results could be released anytime between April 20 and April 25, 2026. In other words, there is a high probability that the results will be announced around April 20, though a slight delay is also possible.
