There is big news for students appearing in the 10th and 12th board examinations from the Uttar Pradesh Board. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the dates for the High School and Intermediate practical exams 2026.  The UP Board has released the information regarding the practical examinations through a notice on its official website upmsp.edu.in. The notice provides the practical exam schedule for all the divisions of the state.

Check when the practical exams will be held:
According to the notice shared by the UP Board, the practical examinations for classes 10th and 12th will be held in two phases. The first phase will be from January 24 to February 1, 2026 (excluding January 29 and 30), while the second phase of practical examinations will be held from February 2 to February 9, 2026. The division-wise practical schedule is as follows:

January 24 to February 1, 2026: Practical examinations will be conducted in Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti divisions during these dates.

February 2 to February 9, 2026: Practical examinations will be conducted in Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur divisions during these dates.

When will the board examinations be held?
According to the timetable released by the UP Board, the board examinations for both classes 10th and 12th will be conducted by February 18, 2026.

More than 52 lakh students will participate in the examinations.
More than 52 lakh students will participate in the UP Board examinations for both classes combined. 2,750,945 students are registered in High School, of which 1,438,683 are boys, and 1,312,263 are girls. In addition, 2,479,352 students have registered in class 12th, of which 1,303,012 are boys and 1,176,340 are girls.

 Admit cards will be available from the school.
For the board examinations, the UP Board will send the admit cards to your respective school before the exams. All students can collect their admit cards by contacting their class teacher or principal at their school.
