UP Board Extends Admission Deadline for Class 10 and 12 Students, Apply Till September 1

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), popularly known as the UP Board, has extended the last date for admission to Class 10 and Class 12 for the academic session 2025–26. Students who could not apply earlier now have an additional opportunity, as the new deadline has been moved from August 10 to September 1, 2025.

Admission Fee Submission Extended

According to the notification issued by the board, school principals can deposit the examination fee through the treasury challan until September 1, 2025. Once the payment is completed, student details along with fee submission confirmation must be uploaded on the official website of UPMSP (upmsp.edu.in) by September 6, 2025, midnight. The earlier deadline for uploading details was August 16, 2025, which has now been revised.

Correction Window Available Till September 20

After the submission process, principals will have access to the uploaded student information such as name, parent’s name, gender, subjects, and photograph. This verification process will take place between September 7 and September 11, 2025.

If any errors are found, schools will be allowed to make corrections from September 12 to September 20, 2025. UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh emphasized that this correction facility is designed to ensure that students’ records are error-free before final submission.

Mandatory Instructions for Schools

The board has clearly instructed all affiliated schools to complete the admission and registration process on time. Any negligence in uploading data or fee details could directly affect students and may cause them to miss out on the examination process. Schools are advised to strictly follow the schedule and guidelines provided by UPMSP.

All applications and fee submissions will be done online, ensuring transparency and reducing paperwork. Students who wish to apply must register through the official website within the prescribed deadlines.

Extended Deadline for Class 9 and 11 Students

Along with Class 10 and 12 admissions, the UP Board has also extended the registration deadline for Class 9 and Class 11 students. The last date for submitting registration fees in the treasury and uploading student details online has now been shifted to September 10, 2025.

Following this change, school principals will be able to download the checklist and verify student information between September 11 and September 13, 2025. In case of any errors, corrections can be made between September 14 and September 20, 2025.
