UP Board Exam 2025: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Minister Gulab Devi has announced that the UP Board examination proposed on February 24 in Prayagraj has been canceled. The main reason for this decision is said to be the Maha Kumbh event, due to which this decision has been taken keeping in mind the administrative and logistical arrangements. The Education Minister clarified that the affected examination will be re-conducted later, the new date of which will be announced soon.

Apart from this, Minister of State for Education (Independent Charge) Gulab Devi inaugurated the state-level control room, which has been set up to monitor the UP Board examinations. Through this control room, continuous monitoring will be done at the examination centers across the state so that the examinations can be conducted transparently and fairly.

Lakhs of students will appear in the UP Board examination.

UP Board examinations will start on February 24, in which a total of 54,37,233 candidates will participate. These will include 27,32,216 high school and 27,05,017 intermediate students. This time the exam will be conducted under the Public Examination Act, so that copying and other irregularities can be strictly prohibited.

Special security and surveillance arrangements

All examination centers will be monitored live through CCTV cameras.

STF and LIU will be deployed in 17 districts for special monitoring of sensitive districts.

Strict monitoring on social media and action will be taken against those spreading rumors.

A coding system will be implemented so that confidentiality is maintained at the examination centers.

Arrangement of additional question papers will be ensured in case of any emergency.

Strict action will be taken against the copy mafia so that the examination can be conducted fairly.
