The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has clarified that the 2026 High School improvement/compartment and Intermediate compartment examinations will take place on July 28, 2026. Only those students who submitted their online applications within the stipulated timeframe will be eligible to appear for the exams. **Exam timings**
The Class 10 compartment and improvement examination will be held in the morning shift, running from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM. Meanwhile, the Class 12 compartment examination will take place in the afternoon shift, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. All candidates are required to reach the examination center at least 45 minutes before the exam begins.

**Strict security measures**
To ensure the examination is free from cheating and remains transparent, the Board has issued specific instructions to the district administration and examination centers. Strong rooms where question papers are stored will be monitored via CCTV 24 hours a day. During the examination, CCTV cameras equipped with voice recording facilities will remain operational in all rooms to monitor every activity.

**Rules to be followed**
All candidates will undergo a screening process before entering the examination center. No candidate will be granted entry into the center without being frisked. Furthermore, mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, or any other type of electronic device will not be permitted inside the examination hall. The Council has advised students to adhere to all rules and arrive at the examination center ahead of time.
