UP Board: A Splendid Initiative—Affordable NCERT Textbooks for Classes 9 to 12 to be Home-Delivered Online..

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), Prayagraj, has launched a scheme to provide NCERT-based textbooks to students in grades 9 through 12 at affordable prices for the academic session 2026-27. The Board aims to deliver high-quality study material to students across the state in an easy and accessible manner.

**70 Textbooks to be Made Available**
According to the Board, the sets for grades 9 and 10 include subjects such as Hindi, Science, Mathematics, Social Science, and Sanskrit. Meanwhile, for grades 11 and 12, textbooks will be available for a wide range of subjects, including English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Business Studies, Accountancy, and Home Science. In total, approximately 70 textbooks covering 36 different subjects have been included in this scheme.

**No Additional Delivery Charges**
To streamline the distribution of textbooks, the Board has appointed three authorized publishers and distributors for the various grade levels. Students will be able to purchase these textbooks starting in February 2026 through local bookstores, wholesalers, and online platforms. To this end, the Board has also partnered with Amazon and the Pioneerbooks.in portal. Students will be provided the convenience of ordering textbooks from the comfort of their homes, and no additional delivery charges will be levied.

**Authorized Printers Designated**

The Board has announced that three printers have been authorized for the printing and distribution of textbooks for the academic session 2026-27. They are as follows:
