UP B.Ed Admission Deadline Extended: Opportunity Open Until April 10; Forms Can Still Be Submitted

If you dream of becoming a teacher and are considering pursuing a B.Ed degree, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, has extended the application deadline for the UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Exam 2026. Previously, applications were due by April 5; however, candidates have now been granted a little extra time. You can now fill out the application form—with a late fee—until April 10, 2026. Consequently, those who have not yet applied are encouraged to fill out the form as soon as possible.

To apply for this examination, candidates are required to hold a graduate or postgraduate degree. A minimum aggregate score of 50% is mandatory. However, for candidates holding an engineering degree, a minimum score of 55% is required.

Age Limit

There is no prescribed upper age limit for UP B.Ed 2026. This means that even if you are older in age, you are still eligible to apply for this examination.

When Will the Exam Be Held?

The UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Exam 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on April 26, 2026. The examination will take place at various test centers across the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, candidates are advised to complete their preparations well in advance and to verify the details of their assigned examination center prior to the exam date.

When Will Admit Cards Be Issued?

Admit cards for this examination will be issued on April 20, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards online. The admit card will contain essential details such as the examination center, exam timing, and important instructions; therefore, it is mandatory to take a printout of the admit card before proceeding to the examination center.

Which Universities Offer Admission?

Success in this examination grants admission to numerous major universities across the state of Uttar Pradesh. These include universities such as Lucknow University, Chaudhary Charan Singh University (Meerut), Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University (Agra), Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (Varanasi), and Deen Dayal Upadhyay University (Gorakhpur). In addition to these, several other universities are also participating in this process.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee while filling out the form. The fee has been set at ₹1,650 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, while it is ₹850 for candidates from the SC and ST categories. If you apply with a late fee, the applicable fee will be ₹2,000 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and ₹1,000 for SC and ST candidates.
