UP Assistant Professor: There is significant news for candidates aspiring to become Assistant Professors in Uttar Pradesh's aided colleges. Candidates selected for the interview will not need to rely solely on the website for information; the Commission will also send interview-related details to the mobile numbers and email IDs provided in the application forms. Additionally, candidates must upload all their original documents online approximately 21 days prior to the interview. Once the documents are uploaded, they will be able to download their interview letter from the Commission's website.
**Result Subject to Court Orders**
The Commission has clarified that the result of this Assistant Professor recruitment drive will be subject to ongoing judicial proceedings. Specifically, the result will be governed by the order passed on April 17, 2026, in Special Appeal No. 368/2026 (*Harvinder Singh & Others vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others*) filed in the Allahabad High Court, and the order passed on May 25, 2026, in SLP No. 23758/2026 (*Dheeraj Chandani vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others*) filed in the Supreme Court regarding this matter.

**What to Carry to the Exam Center?**
Candidates appearing for the main examination must bring two passport-sized photographs, the original copy of a valid photo identity proof, and a photocopy of the same to the exam center. According to the Commission, candidates will be allowed entry into the center one and a half hours before the examination begins. Meanwhile, entry will be completely closed 45 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
