UKPSC APS Shorthand Result 2024: The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the results of the shorthand examination conducted in the first phase of the Additional Private Secretary recruitment examination-2024. A total of 751 candidates have been provisionally declared successful by the commission, and they will now get a chance to appear in the main written examination.

Recruitment Process and Examination Details
This recruitment process was initiated by the commission under advertisement number A-1/E-3/DR(APS)/2024. In the first phase, examinations were conducted for Hindi Shorthand (compulsory) and English Shorthand (optional).

These examinations were held at the Gyanodaya Lab located in the commission's premises between September 22, 2025, and October 16, 2025. The released results include the roll numbers of the successful candidates, who will be considered eligible for the next stage.

No Candidate Successful in English Shorthand
An important fact revealed in the declared results is that none of the 45 candidates who appeared in the English shorthand examination were successful. According to the commission, no candidate achieved the required qualification in this subject. Therefore, no additional benefit based on English shorthand will be given to anyone in the final selection list.

Main Examination Date and Important Instructions
The commission has also announced the date for the second phase of the main written examination for the 751 successful candidates. This examination will be held on March 14, 2026.
