**Estimating Results via the Provisional Answer Key**
Once the NTA releases the answer key, candidates will be able to cross-check their answers. If they are dissatisfied with any of the provided answers, they can raise objections within the stipulated timeframe by paying a fee of ₹200 per question. The answer key will also allow them to assess their performance in the exam.

**Steps to Download the Answer Key**
Once the UGC NET provisional answer key is released, first visit the website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Click on the provisional answer key link found under the 'Latest News' section on the home page.
Enter your login credentials.

The answer key will then appear on the screen, from where you can download it.
For reference, the UGC NET exams were conducted on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30, 2026. Additionally, the exam was held on July 5, 2026, at the CT Group of Institutions center in Jalandhar, following the cancellation of the exam at that location.
