UGC NET December 2025 Exam Dates Announced, Here's How to Apply Online Easily

The National Testing Agency has announced the UGC NET December 2025 exam dates, from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, and the application process is currently open.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam dates for the UGC NET December 2025 session. According to official information, the exam will be conducted from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at exam centers across the country.
UGC-NET is the country's premier national-level exam that determines eligibility for Assistant Professorships and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges. Furthermore, this exam is also considered essential for admission to PhD programs and fellowships from various ministries.
When will the City Information Slip be available?
The NTA stated that the city information slip will be made available to candidates on the official website 10 days before the exam. Candidates are advised to regularly check the NTA website for all exam-related updates.
Application Process Begins
The application process for UGC NET December 2025 is currently open. Interested candidates can apply online. The last date for applying and fee submission is November 7, 2025, at 11:50 pm. Candidates can apply through the "Online Application" option by visiting the NTA's official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Exam Pattern
The UGC NET exam will consist of two papers. The duration of each paper is 180 minutes, and there will be no break between papers. Both papers will be computer-based, with questions to be answered online.
