The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the UGC NET December 2025 session exam. To appear for this exam, online registration is required. Candidates have been given time from October 7, 2025, to November 7, 2025, to apply for the UGC-NET exam. However, the exam date has not been announced yet. Follow the steps below to register.

UGC NET Eligibility: Who Can Apply?

Candidates must have a Master's degree to apply for the UGC-NET exam. Final-year postgraduate students can also apply. A minimum of 55% marks is required.

What is the Application Fee for UGC NET: How much is the application fee?

A fee is required to apply for UGC NET. The fee for the General category is ₹1,150. OBC and EWS candidates can pay ₹600. Furthermore, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are charged ₹325.

When will UGC NET December 2025 be held?

The date for the UGC NET December exam is currently unknown. However, according to the calendar released by the NTA, the exam may be held in the fourth week of November or in December.
