UGC NET 2025 Answer Key Out: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025 session exam. The answer key is available on the official website of NTA ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Candidates can check the provisional answer key along with their response sheet by visiting the website, and if there is any objection to any answer, then they can register an objection with the prescribed fee. The last date for filing objections and fee-related information is also available on the website.

Challenge on July 8

The National Testing Agency has hosted the provisional answer key as well as the question paper on the official website. Candidates who have objections to the answers can challenge the answer key by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question from July 6 to July 8, 2025. The last date to file objections and the last date for fee payment is July 8.

This is how the score will be calculated.
The provisional answer key of UGC NET 2025 contains information related to the candidate, such as name, exam date, subject ID, shift, question ID, and correct option ID. The final answer key will be released after reviewing the objections by subject experts, and the result of UGC NET 2025 will be prepared on the basis of that.

As per the marking scheme of UGC NET 2025, 2 marks will be given for each correct answer in Paper 1 and Paper 2. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer. That is, no marks will be deducted for giving wrong answers. Candidates can easily estimate their probable score using this marking scheme.
