UGC NET 2025 Answer Key Expected by This Date: Learn How and Where to Check

Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET exam are now awaiting the answer key. The NTA has issued a notice regarding the date of the answer key release.

If you appeared for the UGC NET 2025 exam, this news is for you. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release date for the UGC NET December 2025 answer key. An official notice has been issued in this regard. The official notice is available for candidates on the NTA UGC NET official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

According to the official notice, the provisional answer key for the UGC NET 2025 exam will be released by January 15, 2026. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download it from the official website.

  • Then, candidates need to click on the relevant link on the homepage.
  • After that, candidates will have to fill in the required details.
  • The answer key will then open on the screen.
  • Candidates can now check and download it.
  • Finally, candidates should take a printout.

According to the official notice, upon the release of the provisional answer key, candidates will be able to view their question papers along with their responses and will be allowed to submit their objections within the stipulated schedule and as per the prescribed procedure. Candidates will have to pay a processing fee of Rs. 200/- online for each challenged answer key, which is non-refundable. Only paid challenges made through the challenge link within the stipulated time will be considered. Challenges made without any reason/proof, after the stipulated time, and through any other medium other than the specified link will not be considered.

The UGC NET December exam was conducted from December 31 to January 7, 2026. The exam was conducted in two shifts – the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates should keep an eye on the official NTA UGC NET website for the latest updates.
