UGC NET 2024 Result Update
NTA will soon declare the results of the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2024. Aspirants who appeared for the UGC NET 2024 exam can check and download their results from the official website.
The last date to raise objections against the provisional answer key was February 3, 2025. Candidates were required to submit their objections by 6 PM on Monday. A panel of experts will now review these objections, and if found valid, a final answer key will be released accordingly.
Expected Date for UGC NET 2024 Result Announcement
The UGC NET 2024 results will be prepared based on the final answer key. As per estimates, the results are expected to be released in the third or fourth week of February 2025, though an official confirmation is still awaited.
Candidates who qualify for the UGC NET 2024 exam will be eligible to apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), become an Assistant Professor, or seek PhD admission in Indian universities and colleges.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for UGC NET 2024
To pass the UGC NET 2024 exam, candidates must secure at least 40% marks in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. However, qualifying for UGC NET requires meeting the category-wise cut-off marks. The minimum passing criteria for different categories are listed below:
