Fake Degrees: The UGC has issued a warning regarding three fake institutions in the country that are illegally distributing degrees without accreditation. Let's find out their names...

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has once again taken a strict stance on higher education across the country. The commission has issued an important public warning for students, parents, and employers. The UGC has clearly stated that three institutions in the country are distributing degrees illegally, claiming to be universities without any legal recognition. Degrees issued by these institutions will not be valid for further studies, nor will they be accepted for government or private jobs.

The UGC says that every year, a large number of students fall prey to such institutions that mislead people by adding the word "University" to their names. Later, when students apply for jobs or further studies, they find out that their degrees are not valid. To protect students from this problem, the UGC periodically releases a list of fake universities.

According to the UGC, the National Institute of Management Solution (NIMS), Delhi, Sarva Bharatiya Shiksha Peeth, Karnataka, and National Backward Krishi Vidyapeeth, Maharashtra, do not have the authority to award degrees in any way. Despite this, these institutions are illegally issuing degrees to students. The commission has clarified that any degree obtained from these institutions will not be valid in India. Therefore, students studying or planning to study at these institutions need to be extremely cautious.

This action is part of the fake university list initiative

The UGC stated that this warning is part of its initiative to monitor fake universities. Such institutions are not recognized under the UGC Act, 1956, yet they mislead students by claiming to be universities.

The commission has clarified that for any institution to award degrees in India, it must be recognized under Section 2(f) or declared a Deemed University under Section 3. Institutions that do not have this recognition cannot issue degrees. NIMS, Delhi

The UGC (University Grants Commission) has issued a clear warning regarding the National Institute of Management Solutions (NIMS), Delhi. According to the commission, this institution is not recognized under Section 2(f) or 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Despite this, the institution is issuing degrees under the guise of various courses.

Sarva Bharatiya Shiksha Peeth, Karnataka, is also fraudulent

The second institution, Sarva Bharatiya Shiksha Peeth, is located in the Vijayanagar area of Tumkur district, Karnataka. According to the UGC, this institution is also violating regulations. It has not received recognition from the UGC, nor permission from AICTE or any other statutory body.

National Backward Krishi Vidyapeeth of Maharashtra

The third institution is the National Backward Krishi Vidyapeeth, located in Tadwal village, Solapur district, Maharashtra. The UGC has stated that this institution is also issuing degrees without any legal authorization. This institution is neither recognized by the UGC nor by AICTE. Therefore, degrees obtained from this institution will not be accepted by any educational institution or for any job.
