The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) declared the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on May 8. Students who appeared for the exams can now visit the board's official website, tbresults.tripura.gov.in, to check their Secondary (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (+2/Class 12) results, as well as download their digital mark sheets. This year, approximately 38,000 students took the TBSE Secondary examination, while around 30,000 students appeared for the Class 12 (Higher Secondary +2) board examination.
The Tripura Board conducted the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations between February and March. The Tripura Board's Secondary examinations were scheduled from February 26 to March 24, whereas the TBSE Higher Secondary examinations commenced on February 25 and concluded on March 30. Meanwhile, the practical examinations for the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams were conducted between November 17 and December 1 of the previous year.
Students who are dissatisfied with their results may apply for the re-evaluation of their answer scripts. This process is scheduled to begin at a later date. Last year, applications for the review of marks were accepted until May 8, while applications for the re-evaluation of answer scripts were accepted until May 25.
How were the results last year?
Last year, the Tripura Board declared the Class 10 and Class 12 results on April 30. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 stood at 86.53 percent last year, while the pass percentage for Class 12 was 79.29 percent. Interestingly, approximately one and a half months after the declaration of the Class 10 and Class 12 results, the Board announced the names of the top 10 rank holders for the examinations of both classes. Last year, a total of 25 students secured a spot in the top 10 in the Class 10 examination, while 20 students made it to the top 10 in the Class 12 examination.
Who were last year's Class 10 and 12 toppers?
Last year, Antariksha Paul of Belonia Vidyapith Higher Secondary School topped the entire state in Class 10 by securing a total of 490 marks in the examination, while Joydeep Rudra Paul of PM Shri Kamini Kumar Singha Memorial Higher Secondary School secured the first position in the Class 12 examination by obtaining a total of 493 marks in the Humanities stream.
