Students who appeared for the examination can now check their results online on the official website, tnresults.nic.in. Students can download their provisional mark sheets using their registration number and date of birth.

How were the results?
This year, the overall pass percentage for the Tamil Nadu SSLC Class 10 results (2026) was recorded at 94.31%, reflecting a strong performance by the students. This outcome signifies the hard work of students across the state and indicates a continuous improvement in educational standards.

Girls have once again outperformed boys, delivering a stellar performance. The pass percentage for girls stood at 96.47%, while the pass percentage for boys was recorded at 92.15%.

Passing Criteria: Minimum Marks Required
To pass the Tamil Nadu SSLC examination 2026, it is mandatory for students to secure a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. For subjects that include a practical examination component, students are required to secure a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 in the theory paper and a minimum of 15 marks out of 25 in the practical examination.

This year, the Tamil Nadu Class 10 public examinations were conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026. Meanwhile, the practical examinations had already been concluded between February 23 and February 28, 2026.
