Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, popularly known as BBAU, is located in Lucknow. This university was established in 1996 and aims to promote higher education. In the year 2016, the university established a satellite campus in Amethi. The university offers 99 courses at the satellite campus in Amethi and the main campus in Lucknow.
