Studying the subject used in UPSC helps

Also, the librarian of the university and its affiliated college is the ocean of knowledge where the youth preparing for UPSC drown and get drenched in knowledge.

That is why it is being called the UPSC hotspot

Delhi University is not being called the UPSC hotspot for any reason, but the figures of the youth coming out of Delhi University becoming IAS IPS are making it a hotspot. According to the data, between 1975 and 2014, about 4,000 university pass-outs appeared in the UPSC civil service examination and after passing were selected for central services like IAS, and IPS.

This college is the epicenter.

Even within Delhi University, Miranda House, St. Stephens, Lady Shri Ram, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Gadi College and Kamala Nehru College are considered by the youth as major centers for UPSC preparation. According to some media reports, in the 2020 UPSC civil service exam alone, 5 out of the top 20 candidates were pass-outs from Delhi University. Recently, Rajasthan cadre IAS officer Tina Dabi and her younger sister, who secured the All India 15th rank in 2020, are popular on social media.
