The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the Matriculation—or Class 10—results. This year, a total of 81.79% of students have passed the examination. Among them, 601,390 boys and 634,353 girls have successfully cleared the exam. Once again, girls have outperformed boys in this year's results.

Applications for Failed Students Begin April 1st
Students who have failed the board examination need not be disheartened. According to details shared by Education Minister Sunil Kumar, the application process for the Compartmental/Special Examination for failed students will commence on April 1st and continue until April 7th. Students will be able to fill out the application forms online during the specified dates by submitting the prescribed fee. By retaking the examination, applying students can save their academic year from being wasted.

Applications for Scrutiny Also Accepted
Students who are dissatisfied with the marks obtained in one or more subjects may apply for scrutiny. This process involves a re-evaluation of their answer sheets. Please note that during the scrutiny process, the marks obtained may either increase, decrease, or remain unchanged upon re-evaluation. Therefore, you should opt for a re-evaluation of your answer sheet only if you are confident in your performance.

139 Students Secure Spots in the Top 10 in Board Exams
This year, a total of 139 students have secured positions within the top 10 ranks across the state in the Matriculation Board examinations. All these students will be felicitated by the state government. The student securing the first rank will be awarded a cash prize of ₹2 lakh; the student securing the second rank will receive ₹1.5 lakh; and the student securing the third rank will receive ₹1 lakh. In addition to the cash prizes, laptops and certificates of appreciation will also be presented to these students.
