CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026: Anticipation is mounting among Class 10 students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Approximately 6.7 lakh Class 10 students appeared for the ‘Second Board Examination 2026’ in May, and they are now eagerly awaiting the results. The results for the CBSE Class 10 Second Board exam are expected to be released soon on the official websites, cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in. This marks the first time CBSE has conducted the Class 10 board examinations in two phases.

CBSE conducted board exams twice to alleviate student stress and provide an additional opportunity to improve scores. The results for the first phase of the CBSE Class 10 exams were declared on April 15, 2026, with a pass percentage of 93.70%. Students who were dissatisfied with their initial results or had been placed in the 'compartment' category appeared for the Phase 2 exam, held between May 15 and May 21, 2026. The results could be announced at any moment now that the evaluation of answer sheets has been completed.

Over 6.6 Lakh Students Await Results
More than 6.68 lakh students registered for the Second Board Examination, which was conducted this year under CBSE's new assessment structure. According to board data, approximately 85,285 of the examinees belonged to the 'compartment' category, while over 5.25 lakh students took the exam to improve their marks. The highest volume of participation was seen in subjects like Science and Mathematics, where lakhs of students retook the papers to boost their scores.

Digital marksheets will also be available on DigiLocker and the UMANG app.
There is no need to panic if the official board website slows down or crashes due to heavy traffic. CBSE will also make digital marksheets and certificates available on DigiLocker and the UMANG app. Students can log in to these apps using their registered mobile number or Aadhaar card, navigate to the ‘Education’ section, and instantly download their CBSE marksheet. This digital marksheet will be fully valid for future admissions.

Check scores via SMS and phone calls without the internet
Internet connectivity is often unreliable in remote areas. To assist students in such situations, CBSE has introduced offline methods as well. Students can request their results by sending an SMS in a specified format from their phones. Additionally, they can listen to their results by calling the board’s IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) numbers.

Check these details on the marksheet
After downloading the CBSE Class 10 result, students are advised to thoroughly verify the information provided in their provisional marksheet. Details such as name, parents' names, roll number, date of birth, subject-wise marks, grades, and pass/fail status should be clearly stated. If any discrepancies are found, contact your school or the board immediately to avoid any issues with admission to Class 11.
