There is a major update for candidates awaiting the Railway Group D recruitment results for 2024. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) may soon release the results of the Group D CBT (Computer-Based Test). Over ten million (1 crore) candidates from across the country participated in this recruitment exam, and all eyes are now fixed on the outcome. The Board has granted apprentice candidates until June 23, 2026, to update their marks and necessary documents.

It is anticipated that the results could be released once this process is complete. Successful candidates will be called for the next stage, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

The Railway Recruitment Board has opened a correction window for apprentice candidates who did not update their marks at the time of application. Candidates can rectify their marks and document details until June 23, 2026. Following this, the Board may declare the Group D CBT results. Consequently, it is believed that the results could be released anytime after June 23.

**Over 10 Million Candidates Awaiting Results**
This recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 posts. Approximately 10.8 million (1.08 crore) candidates appeared for the exam. The results will be released as zone-wise PDFs. Additionally, the merit list and cut-off marks will be made available. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards using their registration number and date of birth.

The Railway Group D examination was conducted between November 27 and February 10, while the answer key was released on February 17. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be required to undergo a physical test. Male candidates must complete a 1,000-meter run and cover a distance of 100 meters while carrying a specified weight. Separate physical standards have been set for female candidates. Candidates who have completed apprenticeship training will be exempted from the written test.
