The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has issued a notification regarding the June 2026 Term-End Examinations. According to the university, the examinations are scheduled to commence on June 1.
Professors from the IGNOU departments operating at SMD College and Kamala Rai Mahavidyalaya have informed that the process for filling out online examination forms has already begun. Students enrolled in ODL (Open and Distance Learning) and online programs will be able to appear for the examinations in both pen-and-paper and CBT (Computer-Based Test) modes.
All activities related to examination forms, project submissions, and practical examinations are to be conducted exclusively through the Samarth portal. The deadline for submitting the forms has been set for April 10. Subsequently, from April 11 to April 24, forms may still be submitted upon payment of a late fee of ₹1,100.
The university has clarified that no forms will be accepted after the stipulated deadline. Students are advised to exercise caution while selecting their examination mode, subjects, and examination centers when filling out the form, as no modifications will be permitted once the form has been submitted.
IGNOU has advised students to apply for the June 2026 examinations only after checking their results for the December 2025 Term-End Examinations.
Furthermore, students enrolled in practical and laboratory courses have been instructed to contact their respective Regional Centers for information regarding examination centers and schedules. The university has also advised students to verify the validity of their courses.
