The last date to register an objection on the provisional answer key of UPSSSC PET is 17 September. Applicants can object through online mode, and a fee of Rs 100 will be charged for each question. It is necessary to upload documents along with the objection.

The last date to register objection on the provisional answer key of PET 2025 conducted by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has been fixed as 17 December 2025. The commission has clarified that no objection will be accepted after this date. In such a situation, candidates who have objection to any question of the answer key will have to register an online objection by visiting the official website of the commission upsssc.gov.in as soon as possible.

Process and fee for registering objection

According to UPSSSC, objections can be registered only through online mode. At the same time, a fee of Rs 100 has been fixed for each objection, which has to be deposited online. Candidates can also register objections on more than one question. For this also, the candidate will have to pay Rs 100 per question. To register an objection, candidates will have to login on the website with information like registration number, roll number and date of birth. Apart from this, the candidate will have to upload the relevant documents for the objection. The commission has also made it clear that objections sent by post, email or any other medium will not be valid.

19.42 lakh candidates participated in the exam

The written examination of UPSSSC PET 2025 was conducted in two shifts on 6 and 7 September. About 19.42 lakh candidates participated in the examination. While a total of more than 25.32 lakh candidates had applied for it. A total of 100 questions were asked in the exam. According to the marking scheme, one mark has been fixed for each correct answer and negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

What is the further process?

The objections filed by the candidates will be examined by the experts of the subject panel. The final answer key will be prepared on the basis of this investigation. At the same time, the result of PET 2025 will also be announced on the basis of this final answer key. The PET score will be valid for 3 years, so that eligible candidates will be able to apply for different Group C recruitments for the next 3 years.
