The last date to apply for GATE 2025 extended, know when you can apply now
The last date to apply for GATE 2025 (without any late fee) has been extended. Candidates can now apply for GATE 2025 by visiting the official website till this date.
There is good news for the candidates wishing to apply for GATE 2025. The last date for registration without a late fee for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has been extended. A notification has been issued in this regard. Interested candidates can visit the official website to learn about this new date (the last date to apply). For this, candidates have to visit gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
What is the last date now?
According to the notification issued, the last date for registration without late fee for GATE 2025 has been extended to 3 October 2024. Earlier, the last date to register online for GATE 2025 was September 26, 2024. Applicants who have not submitted their applications can now register themselves by visiting the official site goaps.iitk.ac.in.
How to apply for GATE 2025
Interested candidates can fill out their application form by following the steps given below.
Candidates first visit the official website gate2024.iitr.ac.in or go directly to goaps.iitr.ac.in/login.
After this click on the "Apply Online" link on the homepage.
Then a new page will open, where you have to click on the registration link.
After this complete the application form with the required details.
After this pay the registration fee and submit the form.
Finally, take a printout of your application for future reference.
When is the exam?
The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 1, 2, 15 and 16 next year. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode for a total of 30 test papers. The exam will be conducted in two shifts - the first shift will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A candidate will be allowed to take a maximum of two test papers from the available set of two-paper combinations. Please note that the admit card for GATE 2025 will be released on January 2.
