The good news for those wishing to study at IIMC, applications for these MA programs started; know the eligibility

There is a great news for the candidates who wish to study from IIMC. Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is accepting applications for two MA programs - MA in Media Business Studies and MA in Strategic Communication. Interested and eligible candidates who are interested in applying for these MA programs can all apply by visiting the IIMC website iimc.gov.in. Let us inform that the last date to apply for MA programs in IIMC is 15 June 2025, interested people should apply on or before this date.

What is the eligibility?

• Candidates can understand the eligibility for this through the points mentioned below.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 55% marks (or 5.5 CGPA) in any discipline.
• Candidates appearing or having appeared in the final examination of the graduate programme are also eligible to apply.
• For MA in Media Business Studies, candidates with CUET-PG scores in Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17), General-Management (COQP12), Economics (COQP10), and Commerce (COQP08) can apply.
• For MA in Strategic Communication, candidates with CUET-PG scores in Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17), and Political Science (HUQP18) can apply.
• There is no age limit for admission to these programmes.

40 seats each in both programmes

IIMC has 40 seats each in both programmes, including eight additional seats for working professionals and other categories. According to the official notice, "The fee for the two-year programmes is Rs 2,82,000. Candidates are required to pay the first semester fee of Rs 79,000 at the time of admission."
