GATE Exam Pattern: GATE Exam Pattern
The GATE exam syllabus is divided into three sections: General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and the core part of your chosen subject. General Aptitude is the same for all papers. This paper tests your logical and critical thinking abilities. Maths Engineering Mathematics consists of subject-specific questions. The main paper you have chosen for GATE consists of subject-specific questions. The GATE exam consists of MCQs, MSQs, and NAT questions. The total number of questions is 100.
GATE Result: GATE Exam Result to be declared in March
According to the released schedule, the exam will be held in February 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the second shift will be held in the afternoon, from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The result (GATE Result) will be declared on March 19, 2026.
