SWAYAM 2025 Results: The full form of SWAYAM is Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds. Through this initiative of the Government of India, education is being made accessible, equal, and of high quality for all. NTA has recently released the results of the SWAYAM 2025 January session examination. SWAYAM offers online certificate courses in fields like engineering, management, science, and humanities. NTA SWAYAM January 2025 session exam results can be checked at swayam.nta.ac.in.

All SWAYAM courses are free. After completing the course, candidates have to take a proctored exam to get their certificate. The January 2025 session examinations were conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Hybrid (CBT + Pen-Paper) mode. NPTEL, UGC, and IGNOU themselves announce the result and distribute the certificate. A total of 594 course examinations were conducted in the January 2025 session. Most of these were computer-based tests.

Swayam January 2025 Session Exam, Result

Swayam January 2025 session exams were conducted on 17, 18, 24, 25, and 31 May 2025. These exams were held in two shifts - from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This exam was conducted for a total of 594 courses. Out of these, 24 papers consisted of 100 MCQs, and 281 papers consisted of 50 MCQs. The exam was conducted for a total of 65 courses in hybrid mode. NTA declared the results of 524 Computer-Based Test (CBT) courses on 27 June 2025.

Where and how to check the Swayam January session result?

1- To check the results of the Swayam January 2025 session, one has to visit the official website of NTA exams.nta.ac.in/swayam.

2- Click on the link 'SWAYAM Result 2025' on the homepage of the website.

3- Enter login details like application number, date of birth, and email ID/mobile number.

4- Click on the 'Submit' button.

5- By doing this, the Swayam 2025 result scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Download it. If you want, you can also take a printout for future reference.

Note: There is no facility for rechecking or re-evaluation of the results.

Benefits of free courses on Swayam

Swayam courses are only for certification. These do not guarantee direct entry or admission to any institute. However, Swayam certificates can be helpful in higher education and job opportunities.

Credit Transfer: If the candidate is studying in a college/university, the credits of the SWAYAM course can be recognized by their institution, provided the institution accepts it.

Benefits of Certificate:
The certificates issued by the National Coordinators, like NPTEL, UGC, and IGNOU, are recognized by the Government of India.

These certificates are useful in job applications, skill development, and higher education (such as postgraduate courses).

Some courses are based on specific skills (such as project management, data analytics). Most of these skills are in high demand in the market.

Who can take admission in SWAYAM free course?

No specific age limit or educational eligibility rules have been made for SWAYAM courses. Anyone can join this course and study. In February, a parliamentary committee headed by Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh had expressed concern that only 4 percent of the students enrolled in SWAYAM since 2017 have completed the course. According to complaints received from students, problems like outdated content, lack of flexible study rules and poor system have come to the fore.
