According to the information, amid rising temperatures in the Kashmir Valley, the authorities have announced a 10-day summer vacation for all schools (government, recognized, and private schools) up to senior secondary level from July 8, the officials gave this information on Monday. Let us inform you that all the schools in the valley were opened today, meanwhile, this announcement has been made.

When will the schools open?

Officials said that the Education Department issued an order late on Sunday night. The order said, "All government and recognized private schools in Kashmir will observe summer holidays from 08. 07.2024 to 17.07.2024. Online guidance will be available for students if necessary."

How much did the mercury reach?

According to the IMD website, Kashmir Valley has recorded higher-than-normal temperatures this summer. On Sunday, the mercury in the valley reached 32.7 degrees Celsius, which was 3.1 degrees higher than normal for this season. The minimum temperature last night was 21.8 degrees Celsius, which was 4.5 degrees Celsius higher for this season.
