STET Exam: The Bihar School Examination Board had issued a notification for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test. The application process for this exam will start from today. Candidates who are going to appear in this exam can get all the details of the exam by visiting the official website.
STET Exam: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued notification for Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. This time the candidates who pass the exam will be given a lifetime valid certificate. The application process will start from September 11 and will run till September 19, 2025. The exam will be conducted in October and the result will be released on November 1.
STET Exam Date: When will the exam be held?
STET exam will be conducted from October 4 to October 25, 2025. After this the board will declare the result on November 1.
STET Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern
A total of 150 questions will be asked in this exam. Out of these, 100 questions will be subject based, while 50 questions will be related to teacher art and other skills. The total duration of the exam will be two and a half hours.
Paper-1 (for secondary classes): It will include 16 subjects like Hindi, Social Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts and Dance.
Paper-2 (for higher secondary classes): It will have examination of 29 subjects, which include Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Magahi, Arabic, Persian, Bengali, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture and Music.
STET Exam Application Fees: Application Fee
General/BC/EWS: Rs 960 for one paper, Rs 1440 for both papers.
SC/ST/PH: Rs 760 for one paper, Rs 1140 for both papers.

STET Eligibility: Qualification and Age Limit
Candidate must have passed graduation.
B.Ed degree in relevant subject is also required.
Age Limit- 21 to 37 years for men.
Maximum 40 years for women.
