According to the notification issued by the SSC, the Paper 1 exam will be conducted on the following dates:
Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) Examination 2025 (Paper-I): December 3-6, 2025
Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2025 (Paper-I): December 9-12, 2025
You can choose your own exam city and date from these dates.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has launched a new facility (SSC Self Slot Booking) under which candidates can choose their own exam city and date by entering their login details on the SSC's official website, ssc.gov.in. Self-slot selection for the SSC JE recruitment can be done from November 10 to 13, 2025, and for the SSC Delhi Police Sub-Inspector recruitment, self-slot selection can be done from November 17 to 21, 2025.
When will the exam city slip and admit card be available?
The SSC will release the exam city slip 10 days before the exam date, allowing candidates to prepare for their travel by obtaining details of their exam city and date.
Admit cards for the exam will be released four days before the exam date. All candidates will be able to access their admit cards online by entering their login details on the website; admit cards will not be available offline or by post.
Recruitment Details
The SSC will recruit a total of 3,073 posts through the CPO recruitment and a total of 1,340 posts through the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) recruitment. For more details on the recruitment, candidates can visit the official website.
