SSC: SSC has increased security during exams! Candidates will now be able to view the question paper and answers..

SSC: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has implemented several new reforms to make its examinations more transparent, secure, and convenient for millions of candidates across the country. The Commission states that these changes have been made while maintaining the integrity of the examination, as well as keeping in mind the interests and convenience of the candidates.
Candidates can now view their question papers, given answers, and correct answers themselves. This will help them evaluate their preparation, challenge answer keys, and retain copies for their convenience if needed.
Objection Fee Now Only 50 Rupees
The SSC has taken several steps to simplify the examination process for candidates. The fee for objecting to an answer will now be only 50 Rupees, instead of 100 Rupees. This has reduced the financial burden on candidates. Additionally, a toll-free helpline (1800-309-3063) has been launched, along with an online feedback and complaint portal, ensuring quick resolution of candidate issues.
Results will now be fair based on percentages.
To maintain fairness in results, the SSC has adopted the process of uniform percentage normalization. This method compares candidates based on their percentage scores rather than their raw scores. If a particular batch faces a difficult paper, normalization ensures uniform and fair results for all groups.
Strict monitoring of cheating
Several steps have been taken to ensure exam security. Aadhaar-based authentication prevents cheating and prevents candidates from taking the same exam multiple times. Question papers are sent from a digital vault, making them difficult to leak. Furthermore, hacking and other glitches are monitored with the help of specialized IT agencies.
Re-examination on October 14 for affected centers
Nearly 2.8 million candidates applied for the recently conducted Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2025. 1.35 million candidates appeared in 45 shifts at 255 centers in 126 cities. Technical issues were encountered at some centers, but a re-examination will be conducted on October 14th for affected candidates. The process for challenging questions will begin on October 15th.
To enhance direct communication with candidates, the SSC has launched its official account at X (@SSC_GoI). The Commission urges all candidates to rely only on official information and not be influenced by misinformation circulating on the Internet.
